We’re proud to welcome you to our brand-new U.S. headquarters in Inver Grove Heights — a space designed to support the future of packaging innovation.
With over 48,000 sq ft (4,500 m²) of combined production and office space, the new facility offers four times the capacity of our previous location, providing the perfect foundation for future projects. The open, light-filled layout reflects the unmistakable SOMIC spirit and creates an inspiring environment for collaboration and growth.
From engineering, sales, software development, and project planning to assembly, commissioning, and spare parts logistics — all essential departments are now under one roof, supported by state-of-the-art communication technology and close collaboration with our systems engineering team in Germany.

How to reach us - Route from Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport
- Start on Glumack Dr heading northwest from the airport.
- Turn left toward Northwest Dr, and continue briefly.
- At the roundabout, go straight to stay on Glumack Dr.
- Keep left to merge onto MN-5 E.
- Take the ramp to MN-55 E toward Hastings.
- Continue on MN-55 E/Hwy 55 E for about 6.7 miles.
- Take the Barnes Ave exit.
- Turn right onto Barnes Ave.
- Take the first right onto Courthouse Blvd.
- Take the 3rd driveway on the right side, look for the SOMIC building with the red columns.

On-site parking is available at the facility. Event signage will direct you to guest parking and the main entrance.
