With decades of experience in the packaging industry, we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our 3-year apprenticeship program for aspiring Mechantronics Technicians. 

Our modern facilities are equipped with cutting-edge technology, providing apprentices with a dynamic, hands-on learning environment while receiving a steady salary throughout their studies. Additionally, SOMIC covers all program expenses, including tuition, training supplies, tools, books and uniforms. 

Twice a week, trainees attend classes at Hennepin Technical College, Minneapolis. For the remainder of the week, they join our dedicated Eagan team to gain invaluable on-the-job training and develop industry-specific skills. Throughout this journey, apprentices at SOMIC Packaging receive personalized mentorship and unwavering support.

Upon successful completion, every apprentice earns a debt-free Associates Degree in Mechatronics and is guaranteed a one-year employment, setting the stage for a promising career.
